Time for some Halloween, charcuterie, spirits, and an LGBTQ+ paint & sip workshop with JP Craft Captain! I'll guide you step-by-step to create a trio of spirited jack'o'lanterns in a spellbinding tableau.
There is NO experience needed; just bring your creativity and a love for all things spooky and queer!
What to Expect:

All Supplies Provided: I'll provide everything you need, including canvas, paints, and brushes.

Snacks and Breaks: We'll provide a curated delicious cheese plate for you to snack on so that you don't get peckish. We'll work at an easy, chill pace, and there will be a break halfway through to get more snacks and more dranks.

Sips: Each ticket includes either 2 Wines (Chardonnay, Rosé or Pinot Noir) or 2 Well Cocktails. If you'd like a higher tier beverage (cabernet, sauvignon blanc, or something like Tito's or Ketel One, etc.) we will ask you to pay the difference to meet the price point of our fancier spirits/wines.

Souvenir(s): Take home your unique fabulous painting AND a fun premium treat for you made by me, JP, to commemorate the fun time we've had together!

An Aura of Bohemia and Great Cordiality: In true Akbar style, this lil' painting soirée will be held in a safe and affirming space, where you can feel comfortable expressing your true self. (However, if you are a werewolf, Nov 22nd is extremely close to a full moon, so please only attend after you've eaten and feel properly satiated.)

Expert Guidance: I've been painting all my life! I will provide clear instructions and helpful tips, ensuring you'll feel confident and successful making your painting. A projector is used to broadcast on a big screen as I paint so you can work along with me. I visit each station and answer questions or help you out if you get stuck. Also no stress! We're not painting the sistine chapel, we're having FUN and not taking ourselves too seriously.

LGBTQ+ Friendly Theme: Will your pumpkins appear to be friendly, or terrifying? Will they be wearing a hat, or glasses, or nothing at all? Make these pumpkins be whoever you like! There will also be opportunity to incorporate some proper Halloween-accents (and whatever else you dream up) to compliment your characters.
Anyone being bigoted or rude or a disturbance to the class will get thrown out on their ear, no refunds. Love ya, mean it, but none of that nonsense.
A Good Time:
This workshop is perfect for a fun night out with all queerios, as well as friends/allies, a rather enjoyable date idea, or a solo creative adventure. Connect and laugh with your fellow fabulous LGBTQ+ painters, do something fun with your hands, and create one-of-a-kind painting to cherish forevahhhh.
Parking: We have a lot behind the bar. Parking is free, first come first serve, and should be pretty easy in there and around the area at 6pm-ish.
